1.George Clymer, Signer of Declaration of Independence, English-speaking.

 

2.John and Simon Clymer, emigrated to Virginia as indentured servants,  English-speaking.

 

3.Johann Andreas Klemmer and Johann Ludwig Klemmer, emigrated to Philadelphia in 1730, Members of Reformed Church, German-speaking, many descendants in Lincoln County, NC. Their grand uncle was:

 

4.Bishop Valentine* Clemmer, Christian Clymer, Jacob Clymer, Henrich Clymer, lived in Bucks County before 1730, Mennonite, German-speaking (our ancestors).

 

 

 •I include the mother's maiden name as a middle name for most individuals. Know that the middle name is usually my inclusion for identification purposes.

•Surnames in CAPITAL LETTERS indicate the person immigrated to North America from Europe.

•Names with an * are my direct line. State abbreviations (TX) in a name mean the individual made a move to that state.

•Surnames are sometimes in parenthesis "(Clemmer) Clymer". I use a common spelling but include the spelling found in many documents in (parenthesis).
